I have just a little time to write another post. In between packing, saying goodbye to people, and running around like a chicken with its head cut-off, it's a wonder I even have time to sleep, but nonetheless here I am!
I haven't even started to pack up my room. Why? I don't know. It's like when I was younger and my parents asked me to clean my room: I would always put it off until the last minute. That goes back to the roots of my soul and the evil demon of procrastination. It's bad…it really is.
So, I'm leaving tomorrow morning…say around 3:30am. We are hoping to make it to Abilene, TX or Cisco, TX. That's about a 13h drive from Tucson, so I'm going to be super exhausted. Here's a little side question…why is it that driving wears you out so much? It's not like you're doing any major work or straining your body, but still you feel like you're going to pass out at the end of the night. Why? Hmm… Anyway, 13hrs is not too bad when you think that would mean stopping at 4 or 5 at night, especially when Texas doesn't get dark until like 10pm. Eh. Texas shouldn't exist. They should cut it out and squish the other states together.
I have more interesting information tomorrow, if I don't pass out while driving. Y'all (I'm going to have to start talking like that) have a good night and try to cook something delicious. Remember the smoke detector is not a timer!
