This is going to be a little shorter than my other blog posts, because I only want to say one thing: IT’S 34 F***ING DEGREES OUTSIDE AND IT’S RAINING! THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO LIVE! I LOVE RAIN, DON’T GET ME WRONG, BUT THIS IS TOO MUCH.
Okay now that I left off some steam (well, a lot of steam since it’s so f***ing cold outside), I have another wonderful story to tell. Let me start off with saying my brother works in the leasing office of the apartment building, so we get a killer discount on the rent and he doesn’t have to drive to work because it’s only like 300 feet to his office. This morning he decided to take his car because it was pouring so much. POURING. I woke up at around nine and I got a call from my brother saying, “If you want to leave the apartment or go and do something, just come down to the office and get my keys (my car is at my other brother’s house). So, I decided to go to my brother’s old apartment to get some of the stuff we left (the trash can and some spices) and, of course, he took the car so I have to walk. When I got outside, it wasn’t raining that hard, but it was still cold. COLD. Very, very cold. I got down there, got his keys, drank a cup of coffee, and decided to brave the weather and go the apartment. By this time, it’s pouring…and his car is in the middle of the parking lot. FUN. After I get everything and drive back to my apartment, I parked the car in the space right by the door. I get out and step in 8” of water. 8”. I wanted to die. Since I thought I was only staying there for a day (my mattress is at my other brother’s house), I only brought one shirt, one pair of pants, and one pair of socks. My socks are now soaked. My pants…soaked. My feet are in ice-cold water. WELCOME TO F***ING GEORGIA.
That’s my story, hope you enjoyed it! Ha-ha. Recipe of the day…hmm. I think I’ll stay away from “goat cheese” lol.
Have good one, y’all!

We get tons of rain here in NY, it's insane. I definitely don't love rain anymore. Especially not in the freezing cold! So I know how that goes. Sounds like a rough day weather-wise for you, my friend. Haha, but it makes us appreciate the warm days of sunshine.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Yeah, I was noticing a lot of goat cheese...
ReplyDeleteMan, that's some intense weather. I would say I'm jealous, buuuuut, I can see how it would suck at the same time. heheh
